Benefits Assistance
Accessing public and private benefits can be overwhelming. The ADRC may assist in navigating the benefits process. We provide benefits counseling and advocacy to ensure you receive the support you deserve.
Housing Advocacy
Housing is personal. We understand that people have diverse needs and preferences. The ADRC may assist in navigating housing resources available through local, state, or federal programs, non-profit organizations, or online housing listings.
Community Options
As the Local Contact Agency (LCA) for Dallas County, we support individuals and families in making informed decisions about community options available for transitioning back home. Our services include providing residents with information about their options, assisting in developing a transition plan, and connecting them with the necessary services and support to ensure their success in the community. Community Options may include housing, transportation, homemaker services and other services that help people live safely and independently at home.
Options Counseling
Navigating and understanding long-term care support and services can be frustrating. The ADRC may assist by providing information on services and programs, benefits coverage, and available resources so you can make informed decisions.
Caregiver Assistance
Caregiver assistance refers to support provided to individuals who are responsible for taking care of others. Respite support provides a temporary break for caregivers. These supports can help reduce caregiver burnout and allow the caregiver time for self-care. The ADRC can provide information on the respite supports available.
