2-1-1 Texas is a free statewide 24-hour information and referral service. By simply dialing 2-1-1, callers can receive information about community and social services, such as food pantries, emergency shelters, rent assistance, utility bill assistance, childcare, and senior services. Option 1 for information on State benefits; Option 2 to report waste, fraud and abuse; Option 3 to register for the State of Texas Emergency Assistance Registry; Option 4 for information about mental health and substance abuse resources in your area; Option 5 if you have health and human services related complaints or issues.
AARP Ride@50+ Program
AARP Ride@50+ Program is dedicated to simplifying access to transportation for people of all ages. The program is a one-stop shop for accessing public and private transportation options, providing a single point of access to review, compare, and book local transportation alternatives.
Abounding Prosperity, Inc
Abounding Prosperity, Inc. believes that preventative services are of utmost importance to prevent disease and improve health and the quality of life. Program and services: HIV/STI testing and screening, HEP C screening, Trans ID Program, HIV & Aging, Youth Program, dance studio, wellness center, and pREP education.

If you are unable to pay a past due balance, assistance is available to here to help you find solutions to pay your natural gas bill. Even if you have not qualified in the past for financial assistance from federal/state/local programs is available energy assistance agencies and state housing authorities.
Attorney General of Texas
Collects and disburses support funds and assists custodial parents or guardians in enforcing collection of child support orders, and establishing paternity.
Autocare Haven
Autocare Haven is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization funded by tax deductible donations from generous individuals and organizations which we use to purchase parts and pay experienced mechanics to conduct free vehicle repairs for veterans, senior citizens, single parents, and low-income households in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.

Brother Bill's Helping Hand
Offers a holistic set of program options for our neighbors that support all facets of their life. Programs include grocery store, community health clinic, mental health services, diabetes education, Zumba class, pathway job training & empowerment, kid's programs, interactive cooking classes, after school, weekly parenting classes, financial coaching sessions, and resume workshop.
Carson's Village
Carson's Village help to connect you or a designated family member with one of their advocates to discuss what they can do to help your family get from the passing of your loved one to the funeral. Assistance with making burial arrangements, hosting family and friends, planning and coordinating funeral services, tracking gifts such as meals, flowers, and monetary donations, etc. The service is free of charge.

Center for Vision Health
A non-profit, low-cost eye clinic that provides practical and creative solutions for the visual needs of children, adults, and seniors, with special emphasis on those needing low vision services. Services include affordable routine eye care. Low vision exams and devices, and non-verbal exam.
Children's Health Insurance Program - CHIP
CHIP offers affordable health insurance coverage for children from birth to age 18. Find answers to common questions that families that are apply for free or low-cost health insurance for their children and teens.
City of Dallas - Code Compliance Department
The City of Dallas Code Compliance Department consists of three divisions: Neighborhood Code, Nuisance Abatement, and Consumer Health. Code Compliance ensures city codes, and ordinances are maintained, so Dallas continues to be a clean and safe city.
City of Dallas Vaccination
Dallas County Health & Human Services offers COVID vaccinations to children and adults who are eligible: The COVID-19 vaccine available to uninsured and underinsured individuals who are 19 years of age and older. TVFC immunizations for: Medicaid-eligible, Uninsured, American Indian or Alaskan Natives, enrolled in CHIP, and Underinsured
Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program
The CEAP is a utility assistance program. CEAP is designed to assist low-income households in meeting their immediate energy needs and to encourage consumers to control energy costs for years to come through energy education. The CEAP involves integration of all LIHEAP-funded programs, thereby enhancing efficiency and effectiveness of services provided to clients and eliminating duplication of services. The CEAP is administered through sub-recipents, which collectively cover all 254 counties of the state.
Counseling Institute of Texas, Inc
A community counseling agency helping children, adolescents, and adults cope with marital and/or family problems, adolescent issues, divorce, blended families, school truancy and drop-out prevention, physical and sexual abuse, depression, suicide, anger management, and a variety of other issues. Programs: Evaluations and Assessment, Family Counseling/Therapy, Individual Counseling/Therapy, Probation Conditions, Diversion Court Programs, Anger Management, Fire Setter Prevention Program, and Sex Offender Treatment and Assessment.
Crisis Ministries
Crisis Ministries assists individuals and families in crisis by meeting basic needs. The Choice Pantry includes a food pantry and hygiene products. Financial Bridge provides financial assistance for temporary emergency financial needs. Transitional Solutions works with those experiencing homelessness. Pursuits are designed to help individuals and families identify ways to improve their financial position by exploring income and expense balancing as well as employment opportunities. Hope and Health is available to those who desire to break the chains of past including addressing past trauma in a safe environment without judgement.

DART - Grocery Pickup and Delivery
DART's drivers will pick up groceries from the store and deliver them directly to the customer for free. Paratransit riders must place their orders directly with the grocery store and provide DART with pickup ID information . Contact DART Mobility Ambassadors for additional information.

DISD Refugee Services
Registration of students new to the country. All new to the country immigrants, grades K-12, who have never attended school in the United States, will be registered, oriented, and assessed at the International Welcome Center. The center's staff provides support to families and students to begin the path toward academic success.
Dallas Area Agency on Aging
The Dallas Area Agency on Aging coordinates a comprehensive, integrated service access system. Care managers work to ensure easy access to servies provided to and for Dallas County older adults and their caregivers. Services: Information, Referral & Assistance for older adults, Care Coordination, Family Caregiver Support, Benefits Counseling Program
Dallas College - Lifelong Learning
Lifelong Learning program is designed to promote the life-long learning of our 55+ community through a range of credit and continuing education classes, including noncredit academic and personal enrichment courses customized for older adults. Senior adults who are age 65 and older can enroll in any of Dallas College's 11,000 credit classes at no charge by using a senior tuition waiver. Senior adults may participate in paid continuing education classes.
Dallas Eviction Advocacy Center
Pro bono legal advice and representation for Dallas County tenants facing eviction. DEAC assists all Dallas County tenants regardless of income, race, immigration status, or native language.
Dallas LIFE - Senior Services
Dallas LIFE's offers a long-term program developed specifically for homeless seniors in the Dallas area. Dallas LIFE helps them obtain affordable permanent housing and prepares them to face the challenges of continuing to live on a fixed income. The Senior Citizens Program meets daily alongside the Overcomers Program for twelve months, with defined program phases and participation in the graduation ceremony upon completion.
Dallas Public Library
The Dallas Public Library provides the following services: Wireless Hotspot, Laptop & Hotspot bundles, Free Tax Help, Interlibrary Loan, Downloadable Media, Classes (Computer, ESL, GED, Childhood Literacy) , Homeless Engagement Initiative, Favorite Things Memory Kits for Seniors, and Notary services.
Disability Rights Texas
Disability Rights Texas is the protection and advocacy agency for Texans with disabilities. Providing assistance with: Accessibility, Community Living, COVID-19, Disaster Resilience, Education, Employment & VR Services, Healthcare, Housing, Institutional Rights & Civil Liberties, Supported Decision Making, Transportation, & Voting.
Disciples of The Way
Provide support services for refugee families in Vickery Meadow area. Services include: Medical, Food Stamps, Assistance Connection, Employment Assistance, Translation, Immigration, Housing, In Home Assistance, and miscellaneous (canceling a gym membership, applying for a travel loan, booking a flight, ride to a doctor's appointment, or a special visit to address a problem in their home.)
Downtown Night Community Court
Their innovative approach merges local strength with the legal system to address challenges and drive positive community transformation. At Community Courts, we assist individuals 18 years or older with City of Dallas quality-of-life Class C misdemeanors by providing wrap-around services to systematically address and remove barriers for successful community reintegration and restoration of our vibrant community. We have five community courts throughout Dallas, including specialized treatment courts for veterans and individuals facing substance abuse challenges. These courts exemplify our dedication to providing tailored support and interventions while addressing the unique needs of our diverse community.
Elaine Kadane Food Pantry
The Food Pantry at Ascension provides bagged goods to families in need on the first and third Tuesday of every month from 9:30AM-11AM. Each week we distribute between 200 and 400 bags.

The Eldercare Locator is a nationwide service that connects older adults and their caregivers with local support resources. Providing resources with: Housing, Elder Rights, Support Services, Insurance & Benefits, Health & Transportation.
Enhanced Library Card
The Enhanced Library card is a document with your name and picture that may possibly be used as a supplement with other documents to prove your identity and residency. You will need to check with organizations/entities with which you would like to use the Enhanced Library Card as part of establishing your identity to determine if/how the Enhanced Library Card can be used for this purpose.
Equal Justice Center
Empowering low-income families, workers and communities to achieve fair treatment in the workplace, in the justice system, and in our shared society-regardless of immigration status.
Fair Oaks Youth and Family Center
Fair Oaks Youth & Family Center provides pediatrics, laboratory services, pharmacy services and family planning to adolescents and families. Health center operates on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8AM to 5PM.
Family Gateway
Family Gateway programs are focused on housing and employment for adults and on education stabilization for children. Interventions provided: Assessment and Diversion, Emergency Shelter, Supportive Housing, Case Management, and an Education program.
Family Place
The Family Place empowers survivors of family violence to lead lives free from abuse. Our comprehensive services are free of charge and offered in English and Spanish. Services include: 24-hour Crisis Hotline, Emergency Shelter, Medical and Dental Clinics, Animal Shelter, Transitional Housing, Children's Educational Services, Community-Based Counseling, Children's Counseling, Supervised Child Visitation, Battering Intervention & Prevention Program, Legal Services, Community Education, Resale Services, and Be Project which reaches out to youth in area elementary, middle and high schools, and on college campuses teach them about health relationships.
Genesis Women's Shelter and Support
Genesis's services provides an emergency shelther, safety, counseling, and expert services to battered women and their children. Other services include a 24 hour hotline, transitional housing, counseling center daycare, children's play therapy, teen counseling, on-site school, case management, parenting classes, legal services, job, readiness classes & domestic violence education. English/Spanish
Good Samaritan of Garland - Food Pantry
Weekly, Good Sam provides our unhoused guests a bag of easy-to-open and easy-to-travel food such as canned meat, ravioli or soup, fruit cup, breakfast/energy bars and a sweet treat. A bottle of water is also included. Unhoused guests may come once per week to receive a "to go" bag of food during our regular distribution hours Monday through Friday 9AM - 1PM.
Grand Connection Transit Service
The City of Grand Prairie's "Grand Connection" transit system serves those who are at least 60 years of age or have a disability. For assistance apply online or by mail.
Healing Hands Ministries
HHM Health have the expertise to provide care for all ages including infants, school-aged children, pregnant women, and seniors. Our services extend to individuals without the ability to pay and refugees, ensuring inclusive care at HHM Health. Language is no barrier, as we have translators who speak various languages.
Holy Spirit Catholic Parish
The Holy Spirit Food Pantry, in partnership with Catholic Charities Dallas, serves families within the Southern Dallas area. Holy Spirit Catholic Parish operates a mobile food truck, the 1st Wednesday of every month, from 9:30AM-11AM at 1111 W. Danieldale Rd, Dallas, TX, 75137 (East Parking Lot)

Hopes Door New Beginning Center
Hope's Door New Beginning Center offers intervention and prevention services to individuals and families affected by intimate partner and family violence. Services: Crisis Hotline, Shelter, Counseling, Legal Support, Advocacy, Advance Class, and Safety Planning.
Human Rights Initiative of North Texas
Human Rights Initiative of North Texas is an immigration law firm that is free for people who qualify. Can help: Asylum seekers, Undocumented survivors of domestic violence, Undocumented survivors or witnesses of serious crimes, Undocumented kids who have been abused or abandoned.
ILAD Rohingya Program
Provide a citizen-focused Engish and literacy curriculum. In addition, they offer crash course sessions for participants seeking extra help as they prepare for their interviews with USCIS. They also offer a series of bilingual citizenship education videos, which can be found on their Youtube channel.
Injury Prevention Center of Greater Dallas
Collabroative work with communities and institutions to provide prevention interventions that reduce the number of people being injured by motor vehicles, violence, fallas and fires. Provides care seat inspections at West Dallas Multipurpose Center on the 1st and 2nd Thursday of each month. Inspections are by appointment only.
Interfaith Family Services
Interfaith family Services now provides funding for past due rent and monthly rent. Clients who receive this assistance must be willing to obtain the financial and career coaching to help overcome future financial challenges. Our proven Family Empowerment Program is designed to help our clients increase wages, reduce debt, and build a savings safety-net in just a few short weeks. They offer a savings match of up to $150 to those who participants also participate in our financial coaching program. Day and evening coaching is available, and childcare is provided. Family Empowerment Program participants also have access to our on-site gym, fitness classes, career training, and counseling services.
International Rescue Committee (IRC)
The IRC provides opportunities for refugees, asylees, victims of human trafficking, survivors of torture, and other immigrants. Services include Resettlement and Placement, Extended Case Management, Economic Empowerment, Education and Learning for Youth, Education and Learning for Adults, Health and Wellness, Immigration Services, and Children Legal Services.

Irving Cares provides focused assistance for Irving residents to address a financial crisis. Services: Financial Assistance, Food Pantry, Childcare, & Employment Services
Jewish Family Services
Provides crisis intervention and safety plannning, counseling, and support groups. Family Violence Intervention Services: case management, crisis intervention/safety planning, employment & financial coaching, individual counseling for adults affected by abuse, individual play therapy for children, parent/child counseling, prevention/education programs, psychiatric consultation, support groups and women's trauma group.
Jubilee Park
Jubilee's Seeds of Hope emergency assistance services and the food pantry provide essential support to our community. From offering groceries to helping with rent, mortgage, or utility bills, these services are designed to ensure that all of our Jubilee neighbors have the resources they need to maintain stability and thrive. Level Pathways
Level Pathways is an approved resource by Irving ISD, providing tools and services to youth in order to end youth homelessness. Services: Housing, Food, Clothing, Tutoring, Medical & Dental, Employment, Counseling, and other case management services to any student who is at risk of not succeeding in High School.
Literacy Achieves
Their Adult English Literacry Program & Early Childhood Education Program offers: English classes, Citizen Preparation, Child-Centered literarcy-rich enivironment for young children from 4 months to 5 years old & bi-weekly Parent and Child Together Activities helping parents become full partners in their children's learning.
Masonic Children & Family Services of Texas
Masonic Children & Family Services offers a comprehensive range of services to support Texas children, families, and Masonic widows. Services include Autism Support Services/Therapy, Dental Services, College Scholarships, Rent & Utilities, Medical Treatment/Therapy, and Widow Support Services.
Meals on Wheels Program
VNA Meals on Wheels provides hot, nutritious, freshly prepared meals five days a week to Dallas County residents who cannot obtain or prepare meals for themselves due to illness, advanced age or disability.
Metro Relief
Metro Relief helps unhoused persons obtain IDs, driver's licenses, and birth certificates and assists with housing placement. They will be on-site at Good Samaritans of Garland with the Soup Bus on Fridays, typically between 10AM - 11AM.
Metrocare Services - Homeless & Housing Services
Housing services: homeless outreach, homeless clinics, rehabilitative support services, housing placement assistance, and support for adults 18 and older with mental health needs.
Metrocare Services - Local Intellectual & Developmental Disability Authority
Serves as the point of entry for publicly funded intellectual and developmental disability programs, whether the program is provided by a public or private entity.
Metrocare Services - The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic
Designated for veterans, military families, and active-duty service members.
Metrocare Services Mobile Crisis
For adults needing immediate care, Metrocare offers extended hours at the Westmoreland Clinic until 10PM. Individuals can call to schedule or present to the clinic for services. Monday to Friday: 8AM - 10PM
Metrocare Services Peer Support Line
For non-emergency emotional support from someone with lived recovery experiences. Seek help before the crisis and talk to someone who has been there. Monday to Friday: 7AM - 12AM
Metrocrest Services
Depending on the circumstances can provide help for families, seniors, and individuals in paying their rent/mortgage and water or energy bills.. Provides services to residents in Addison, Carrollton, Coppell, Farmers Branch, and the City of Dallas in Denton County (75287) .
Miracle Messages
Miracle Messages helps people experiencing homelessness rebuild social support systems and financial security, primarily through family reunifications, a phone buddy program, and basic income pilots.
Mosaic Family Services
Mosaic House is a safe shelter for immigrant women and children who have survived domestic violence and/or human trafficking. Additional services provided to their shelter individuals include Comprehensive case management, Legal services, Immigration assistance, Interpretation and translation, Medical care, Counseling, and Educational opportunities.
